Pastor Snowden G. Sims

Pastor Snowden (Gene) Sims has served St. Paul's since June, 2009.  Pastor Sims is a 1985 graduate of Northwestern College. He holds a Master of Divinity from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. In his spare time Pastor Sims enjoys fishing, working out, listening to jazz, and playing guitar. He and his wife, Melinda, enjoy spending time with their daughter.
Vicar Peter Plagenz

Peter Plagenz is from Manchester, Wisconsin. His father Pastor Mike Plagenz serves as pastor at St. Paul’s Manchester and St. Paul’s Marquette, and his mother Pam Plagenz teaches preschool and gives piano lessons. He is the youngest of four children. He attended high school at Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, before heading off to college at Martin Luther College (MLC) in New Ulm, Minnesota, where he met his wife Lauren. After graduating from MLC in 2014 he moved on to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary where he is currently studying. He enjoys camping, running, and playing trumpet.
Principal Phil Glende
Mr. Glende has been teaching at St. Paul's since 1979.  He has taught grade levels from 3 through 8 and is currently teaching grades 7 and 8 and serving as principal.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Dr. Martin Luther College and a Master's Degree in Education from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE.  Mr. Glende considers New Ulm, MN, his hometown.  He enjoys serving St. Paul's as a church organist and choir director.
